Controlled and supervised by the Department of Probation and Child Care Services, this detention center is established in terms of Section 48 of Ordinance on Children and Adolescents, No. 48 of 1939.  Here, male children under the age of 16 who have committed various legal offenses are detained pending court decisions. The department also conducts programs to develop physical and mental skills during their detention.
