MAKOLA CERTIFIED SCHOOL

This school is established in terms of Section 51 of Ordinance on Children and Adolescents, No. 48 of 1939 and controlled and supervised under the Department of Probation and Child Care Services. Children aged between 12-16 who have been in conflict with the law are referred to this school for rehabilitation on court orders.

These children are kept residentially for a period of 3 years and while they are being given formal school education, they are directed to vocational training courses such as electrician training, hair cutting, computer training, welding art, bakery courses, and training on art, life skills etc. within the premises of the institute at the same time. It intensifies their future goals and develops physical and mental strength.
