Controlled and supervised by the Department of Probation and Child Care Services, this center provides residential facilities for about forty infants. Children from birth to 3 years of age are currently being cared for in this institution and children referred directly to the department by the court under the category of orphaned, deserted and helpless are currently being admitted to the institution.

Also, the children in this center who cannot be handed over to their parents by the court are given for legal adoption.
